 CME Questions


How many hours of CME will I receive if I attend this meeting?

The American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.​

This activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ 

How do I get my CME certificate(s)?

Within a few weeks of the meeting and after submitting your CME and evaluation forms, you will be able to sign in to download your CME certificate(s). If you are a new attendee or have forgotten your login information, please contact the AOFAS at registration@aofas.org or call 800-235-4855 or +1-847-698-4654 (outside US).

Does this meeting qualify for CEU?

No it does not. However, non-physician attendees can claim proof of attendance by following the same steps listed above for claiming CME.

 Program Questions


What is the appropriate attire for the meeting?

Business casual. Dress for indoor air conditioning.

Where can I get handouts for the instructional courses and other sessions?

Handouts for symposia and instructional course lectures will be available on the AOFAS mobile app. An email notification will be sent to registrants prior to the meeting when materials become available.

Where can I get abstracts for the meeting?

Meeting abstracts will be available on the AOFAS mobile application. An email notification will be sent to attendees as soon as the abstracts are available.

What awards are given out at the AOFAS Annual Meeting? When are they given? How can I apply?

What is the cancellation policy?

Early Bird Deadline: Deadline to receive 100% Meeting Cancellation Refund less $100 processing fee (educational programming only; does not include optional activities)
June 29: Deadline to receive 50% Meeting Cancellation Refund less $100 processing fee (educational programming only; does not include optional activities)
Requests to cancel registration and obtain a refund must be received in writing at the AOFAS Executive Office by the  deadlines shown above.

What is the youth attendance policy?

Exhibit Hall - Minimum age 16.

Will my registration materials be mailed to me?

A Registration Brochure will be mailed to AOFAS members in the spring. Routine updates will be posted to this website. Within a week of the meeting, registrants will receive an email confirmation letter providing detailed information regarding your attendance. This will include instructions on location and times when you can check in and pick up your registration materials.

How do I get a copy of my registration receipt?

An eReceipt (or fax for those without an email address) will be sent once payment in full is successfully processed. Please allow 2-3 business days for those registering online, by phone or via fax. Allow up to 10 days if paying by mail.
